Death Valley
Lots of water in it this year
I loved the way the light played on the water
This is Thor's Well where each year photographers lose their gear or even get puled into the ocean. I photograph it from a distance!
We have had two that have overwintered here
Lots and lots of rain this month so I've done some inside photographing
I went to West Lake at dawn hoping for a picture I had in mind...no luck with that but this boat caught my attention
AT least they weren't looking at their phones
Seen on our hike
I saw him land way up in our butternut tree and went out with my camera
The pair was seen from far away on the Waxmyrtle trail
Enchanted Valley. I thought the light on the grass was nice
I've never seen one perched over the ocean before. I wonder what he was expecting to catch
Taken on a day trip to Sitka Sedge trail near Pacific City
I think it is...hard to tell. The moon was too bright
Shooting out of the rain
I liked the combo of manmade boat and lighthouse lights and the stars and clouds
She barely fits on her bed!
Dellenbach Dunes
AN old boat we saw in Garibaldi on our day trip with some textures to get rid of distracting background
Indoor Winter photography play
We were out looking for the C 2022 E3 without any luck, but looking towards the West, I thought it was worth a shot
The bull has a huge rack if you look carefully...taken on the horse trails
Just playing around with some old photos
From the Sitka sedge trail
I like how solitary he looks
I love kingfishers and I find them to be one of the hardest birds to photograph, so I was delighted to find two of them on our Sitka Sedge hike

On the Washburne trail
Enchanted Valley
The bark is so gorgeous
The only flower blooming right now in our garden
With al the rain we had in January, every time I saw the sun I was delighted
China Creek trail
There must have been 30 of these birds eating insects on the South Jetty trail. When they are in breeding plumage, they turn red
Went out with my camera to shoot the waves during a break in the rain. Yachats
Went out with my camera to shoot the waves during a break in the rain. Thor's Well
It looked almost like silver
