A Bit of a Monotone Day
Looking back before the storm hit (on Washburn beach)

Sneaker Wave (I was all set up to take pictures of the stars when my friend yelled "Jane, get your bag and your camera!")

Tree Of Welcome (I love the grace of this tree that greets me as I drive in the driveway coming home)
Tufted Puffin with Plumage Still Changing (Newport aquarium)
Twilight Stars at the Outlet (I loved the shapes that the water made in the sand winding its way to the ocean)
Yachats Sunset (I was surprised by the ring around the sun)
Backlit Surf As Sun Goes Down (Loved the play of light even if the sunset wasn't that impressive)

Dune Walker High Contrast B and W (I really loved this shot from the Great Sand Dunes National Park, so I revisited it for black and white)
Horned Puffin in Non Breeding Plumage Giving Me the Eye (Newport aquarium)
Hummer with Throat and Crown Bright in the Sunlight (We have two hummers overwintering and I was delighted to see the bright color in the sunlight)
Last of the Leaves (Some of our Japanese maples)
Maples Framed Below the Star Magnolia (I liked peaking through and seeing them)
Milky Way Reflected (The water was still enough that I could see the reflections of the Milky Way)
