Forest Rays (I wish I'f had my real camera for this beautiful sight)
Clouds and Stars (I swapped out some old lenses I wasn't using and got a new lens that will be fabulous for star shooting. This was my first attempt off the deck when we were in the hot tub and I saw a few stars pop out)
Devils Golf Course Blake with Light Beams (I took this shot back in 2013 and recently submitted it for critique and this is after changing some things based on Blake Rudis' suggestions)
Devils Golf Course for Black and White (One more edit of this shot taken in Death Valley in 2013)
Elephant for Textures (I've been experimenting with making my own textures and went back to some old shots to practice)
Forest Path (Taken on a hike on Cummins Creek trail with my phone)
Great Horned Owl and Textures (I've been experimenting with making my own textures and went back to some old shots to practice)
Hills and Clouds From Mary's Peak (Jim and I took a road trip. We'd been driving through fog for the last hour and decided to go to the top of Mary's Peak for a hike. We were delighted to find that we were above the clouds)
Hills and Clouds From Mary's Peak B and W (Jim and I took a road trip. We'd been driving through fog for the last hour and decided to go to the top of Mary's Peak for a hike. We were delighted to find that we were above the clouds)
High Surf Morning in Yachats (We've had a couple of high surf warning days. I would have rather gone to Coos Bay but in the times of Covid, too many people stand too close there to be comfortable and safe)
Lightening Strike On North Rim (Recently it was Jim's birthday so I reprocessed a shot I took in the Grand Canyon when we went last year.)
Mary's Peak Waterfall (From our day trip to Mary's Peak)
Merkel's Francolin for Textures (I've been experimenting with making my own textures and went back to some old shots to practice)
Moon Falling In the Sea (I got up before dawn to shoot the moon falling into the ocean)
Moon Going Down Behind the Rocks At Heceta Lighthouse Park (I got up before dawn to shoot the moon falling into the ocean)
Ouch Prickery Seat with Texture (I've been experimenting with making my own textures and went back to some old shots to practice)
Purple Dawn Fog (Our sugar maple put on quite a show this Fall)
Rainbow in the Fall (From off the deck)
Rainbow In theSurf (We've had a couple of high surf warning days. I would have rather gone to Coos Bay but in the times of Covid, too many people stand too close there to be comfortable and safe)
Ruby Crowned Kinglet (A friend invited me to come to her place to photograph kinglets she'd been seeing. It was quite a learning experience for me shooting such teeny flighty fast moving birds in the middle of leaves and trees.)
Silky Waterfall (I loved the shape of this waterfall we saw at Mary's Peak)
Snag in the Mist (On our hike on the horse trails near home)
South Jetty Sunset (I was hoping for shooting sunset and moonrise the night before the full moon standing in basically the same place. Unfortunately too many clouds came in to the East to get the moon rising but the sunset was pretty.)
Stormy Morning On Glacier Point 2020edit (A black and white reedit of a shot I took several years ago)
Sun Rays In Yachats (On our recent day trip, we were driving up the coast just as the sun was coming out of the fog and frost. I yelled "STOP" and Jim complied...thankfully)
Three and A Baby (Deadly but beautiful amanitas on the horse trail)
Three Sisters Beyond the Clouds (Jim and I took a road trip. We'd been driving through fog for the last hour and decided to go to the top of Mary's Peak for a hike. We were delighted to find that we were above the clouds. If you look really carefully you can see the Three Sisters Mountains on the other side of the clouds)
Waterfall at Home (Jim cut a bunch of brush out of the way so that we could see our little stream now that there has been enough rain to be pretty)
Waves Rolling In (We've had a couple of high surf warning days. I would have rather gone to Coos Bay but in the times of Covid, too many people stand too close there to be comfortable and safe)
Whip Cream Surf (We've had a couple of high surf warning days. I would have rather gone to Coos Bay but in the times of Covid, too many people stand too close there to be comfortable and safe)
Yellow Crowned Kinglet (A friend invited me to come to her place to photograph kinglets she'd been seeing. It was quite a learning experience for me shooting such teeny flighty fast moving birds in the middle of leaves and trees.)
Black Oyster Catchers and Surf (We've had a couple of high surf warning days. I would have rather gone to Coos Bay but in the times of Covid, too many people stand too close there to be comfortable and safe. The oyster catchers were a bonus)
Blueberry Leaves Against Ferns (Signs of Fall on our driveway)
Cape Eland for Textures (I've been experimenting with making my own textures and went back to some old shots to practice)
