This spot...one of my favorites to photograph- is only open to hikers between October and April so I do my best to get there when it is open. I love the tiny birds and walkers
It is so fun to photograph the full moon as it decends into the ocean
I saw this standing by the side of the road as I left Shore Acres after shooting the high surf
Been experimenting with a software program that lets you shoot macro with detail throughout. I'm still learning.
Jim and I took a trip to Eugene to buy his new car and saw the leaves beginning to turn as we crossed the bridge in Mapleton. He was kind enough to stop so I could take a few pictures

When there is a high surf advisory in Coos Bay, I try to get there to shoot from Shore Acres. We had driven to Eugene to get Jim's car and I left him there to drive home and took a quick trip to Coos Bay

On the horse trails
Sinking into the ocean at Heceta Lighthouse Park
A composite to allow the hummingbird to come forward out of the Fall colored butternut leaves
we still have a couple of Annas hanging around the feeder. I hope they will over winter here
I had to laugh whe I saw this on the back of my camera!
This could have been a fabulous shot but somehow I had set my camera to take the worst quality JPEGs! Darn
This night the milky way was hidden by fog in the place I wanted to photograph, but I found it visible here.
One of the new roses in our garden with its first bloom
Took a trip with a friend to Pacific City and we left early in hopes of shooting some color in the sky
Favorite place, one of my favorite subjects!
Clear skies at night, photographer's delight!
This is a reedit of a photo I took last January in Todos Santos
Another capture of the full moon setting at Heceta Lighthouse Park
This feels so wonderfully peaceful to me
Our camera club had an outing to shoot steel wool fire on the beach

Rushed out to a nearby spot when the sunset looked hopeful
I was out shooting the full moonrise and looked to the west and saw glory all around
I thought this might be nice in B and W too
Cormorant drying his wings but it looks as if he is telling about how big his fish was that got away

When there wasn't enough water in the outlet to make for nice reflections, we went to Cleowax Lake instead and it was pretty sweet
Jim and I had been wanting to go on a camping trip to see the turning leaves but it kept raining when we were free to go, so we decided on just a day trip and drove up to Corvallis on Territorial Hwy
Dawn at Waldport marina
The crab was flinging his claws around like crazy.
Instead of shooting the Milky Way at the Outlet where it was buried in fog
Clear skies at night, photographer's delight!

We had driven to Eugene to get Jim's car and I left him there to drive home and took a quick trip to Coos Bay. In this shot I was lucky enough to get a rainbow as well as a person in a bright red jacket to give a sense of size!
Shooting the full moon rising is one of my favorite things and I was happy with this shot
