Integrated Cormorant Nesting Site (Cormorants and Murres nesting together on the rocks by Washburne Beach)
Jim At End Of Bridge (Jim, Black Pearl and I took a day trip down the Umpqua River and to the waterfall loop)
Jim's Lily (Three blooms supporting each other)
Lily (The first lily to bloom this year in Jim's flower gardens)
Milky Way for WWYDW (What Would You Do With?) (There is a contest on a photo website I post on in which they give you someone else's photo as a starting point and you make your own magic with it. The beginning photo here was the stone archway and I took off from there.)
Pouring Over the Rocks (A close up at Clearwater Falls)
Raven Mid Air Battle (It was a thrill to watch but too far away for a good photo)
Rufous Babies Are Ravenous (Yes, they were all circling one of the two feeders at once. The other feeder had just as many)
Rufous Fly Away (Of course when the hummers are here, I can't stop myself from photographing them!)
Rufous Flying (Of course when the hummers are here, I can't stop myself from photographing them!)
Rufous Sitting On the Wire (Of course when the hummers are here, I can't stop myself from photographing them!)
StarFish Tiptoe Walk (I have never seen a starfish do this before)
Stump Lake and Mountain (From Jim and my trip to the waterfall loop near the cascades)
Towee (Seen on the South Jetty trail)
Watson Falls (Jim and I have hiked to almost all of the waterfalls on the waterfall loop before but not this one. It is a pretty long and very steep hike but we were eager to take it. It was worth the hike despite the awkwardness of carrying camera, tripod, walking stick and Black Pearl on her leash!)
White Egret Fluffing Her Petticoats (It was too far for a good photo but I love the petticoat look)
White Egret Flying Into the Light (Taken on South Jetty trail)
White Throated Sparrow Singing (Taken on South Jetty trail)
Whitehorse Falls (This is probably my favorite fall on the waterfall loop so I always have to photograph it but it is very hard to get the exposure right with the huge contrast between darks and lights)
Adolescent Moose for Kent (I learned that my blessed physical therapist who keeps this old body going loves moose so I went back to my Yellowstone photos and did some new edits for him)
Adolescent Moose Mount for Kent (I learned that my blessed physical therapist who keeps this old body going loves moose so I went back to my Yellowstone photos and did some new edits for him)
Adolescent Moose Practice for Kent B and W (I learned that my blessed physical therapist who keeps this old body going loves moose so I went back to my Yellowstone photos and did some new edits for him)
And You Were Saying (South Jetty trail)
Approach Of the Turkey Vulture (South Jetty trail)
Landing Gear Out (Black Pearl and Jim and I went for an early morning hike at Washburne beach and were blessed with watching a bald eagle from close up)
Bald Eagle Flying At Washburne (Black Pearl and Jim and I went for an early morning hike at Washburne beach and were blessed with watching a bald eagle from close up)
Barn Swallow Flying Out for More Bugs for Baby (Taken at the structure near the elk viewing area outside of Reedsport)
Big Waves Don't Bother Me (Black Pearl and Jim and I went for an early morning hike at Washburne beach and were blessed with watching a bald eagle from close up)
Blue Heron Showing His Undercarriage (I hadn't realized just how colorful they are...maybe just because it is breeding season)
Cormorants Flying Where Sea and Sky Meet (Washburne Beach)
Coyote On the Morning Beach (An unexpected find on Washburne Beach before there was anyone there bu Jim and Pearl and me)
Elk Racks In the Grass (The guys hang out by themselves at this time of year)
Fresh Sour Dough Onion Rye (Since we are pretty much avoiding going inside any public places and since Jim doesn't like the bread sold at Fred Meyers where we do grocery pick up, I've been making bread frequently. This one is our favorite)
Ghost Dog At Whitehorse Falls (Of course Black Pearl wanted to do some parkour while I was photographing waterfalls. I like the ghostly magic that happened with my long exposure)
Gifts from the Sea (There were many years of starfish die off but they are back in delightful abundance)
Hummer and Rose (Of course when the hummers are here, I can't stop myself from photographing them!)
Hummer Flying in the Lucifer (Of course when the hummers are here, I can't stop myself from photographing them! And I would much rather photograph them in the flowers than next to the feeder)
Hummer Half Asleep with Tail Feathers Spread (1 of 1) (Of course when the hummers are here, I can't stop myself from photographing them! I wonder how they can hover, spread their tail feathers aggressively and be half asleep all at once!)
Hummer in Front of Daylilies (Of course when the hummers are here, I can't stop myself from photographing them! And I would much rather photograph them in the flowers than next to the feeder)
Hummer on Lucifer (Of course when the hummers are here, I can't stop myself from photographing them! And I would much rather photograph them in the flowers than next to the feeder)
I Caught A Dragonfly (Imagine my surprise when I got this photo of a golden crowned sparrow on my computer and saw the dragonfly! What a thrill)
