We were driving out the driveway to go on a hike when we saw this and stopped for a shot

A friend gave me these bulbs years ago and thy finally bloomed. A few weeks later there are about 15-20 blooms!

We just saw one on our early morning hike but I was happy for seeing him/her

This summer I tried to capture hummingbirds in all of the different flowers they chose to sip from

Fires to the East of us have made for smoky skies and pretty sunsets when it isn't overcast

They are endangered but seem to be making a comeback

We took a couple day trip to Portland to visit with Niguelle and Zoe while they got her dropped back off at Reed

This was the night of the first hopeful sunset for a long time

He was lying on the driveway in the daytime. Jim picked him up and put him in a dark place. Next time we looked, he was gone. Hopefully he found his way back to his colony

We were on our way North for an early morning hike on the beach before the tourists arrived and saw this

It has been a long time since we've had much in the way of a sunset. I wasn't disappointed when we went to Bob Creek wayside

Days are finally short enough to be able to stay up for the stars. Unfortunately most of the night skies have been overcast
