Death Valley
Our roses are more beautiful this year than they have ever been before
Just playing with a b and w reedit
We must have seen more than 300 that morning. I'm guessing they are migrating
Foggy morning but I love how they all fly off together
And what a beautiful morning it was
They are so cute
Looks as if the crocosmia is sucking him in
This was due to the Canada fires I think
Enjoying the butterfly bush
On Washburne Beach on a foggy morning
Our roses are more beautiful this year than they have ever been before
At the lookout on Cape Perpetua
First time since April and everything has been so dry that we have a fire only 10 miles away
Magical morning
Such a beautiful spot
In the garden
The magic that happens in the sand
I tried all summer to catch one in flight and finally succeeded
Maybe they are migrating
I was tickled to see they way the sunset colored the background
They don't usually fly in formation and they are headed North rather than South!
It is a beautiful gold color. Jim transplanted a few to hopefully help them spread
Battered but still flying
From nearby fires
In our yard
I haven't seen one of these before
We stopped on the way North for a dawn hike
On Washburne Beach
Jim called me to get my camera when he saw a fawn in the back yard. Instead of one, there were 4. At first I only saw one doe and wondered if she'd had quadruplets, but then I saw a second
Our roses are more beautiful this year than they have ever been before
I couldn't get my camera out quickly enough to capture the osprey's dive, but at least I got him flying off with it
In our back yard. I think it was a red tailed hawk but he was sitting in an unfamiliar spot
I like the eyes
I was really surprised to see this little tree frog climbing up into the hot tub
This is the same osprey we saw dive and fly off with his catch
Out on the rocks at low tide
On our butterfly bush
On the deep purple butterfly bush
On a foggy dawn on washburne beach
Our roses are more beautiful this year than they have ever been before
