Morning Twilight Boat Trips to Lava

While the parks around here were closed and the rain coming down, I took some time to revisit photos from my archives.

Enjoying the Sunset At Grand Canyon 2020 edit

Using some new editing knowledge, I revisited some old shots. To me it looks a bit oversaturated but it was a gaudy sunset

Crater Lake Reedit

I've never been happy with the Milky Way shots I've taken at Crater Lake so I went back to look at them and combined a daytime lake picture that I darkened significantly and replaced the sky with this Milky Way sky that I do like. I had to fiddle a lot with the white balance to get it to work and I know it isn't "real" but I had fun playing

Milky Way At Outlet

I got a new toy. It is a device that you can hook up with your camera to allow for longer shutter speeds without getting stretched out stars. It has a steep learning curve especially in the dark. This was my first attempt
