Taking a Leap
I was composing a river shot and noticed a couple of men with kayakspassing through my frame. I stopped what I was doing thinking a picture of kayaks would be even better. Turned out they weregoing to take their kayaks and leap off a high wall into the gorge! YIKES. I put together a composite to show the amazing sequence

Sea Turtle Coming Up for Air
we had a totally thrilling swim this morning with a sea turtle who came really close...so close I was almost afraid for a moment and had to back up to get any shots!
